Role: Art Director/CG Lead
Studio: Warm And Fuzzy
I helped create this spot for Acorns with my friends at Warm & Fuzzy. Our small but mighty team of artists turned around 90 seconds of 4k CG in a very short amount of time. As CG Lead I worked to help figure out the technical, logistical, and staffing challenges such a job presented as well as handled the look development, lighting & rendering, and much of the previz animation. I also stepped in and helped comp a bit too.
Gentleman Scholar hired me to help with the look development for this Google Cloud “March Madness” job. One of the more visually interesting jobs I’ve ever worked on, every shot varied stylistically from one to the next.
In early 2017, AT&T tasked me with creating a show open for their internal awards show The Golden Boy Awards. One of those rare projects where the Creative Director told me to make it look as cool as possible and gave me free reign. From concept to look dev to the final renders, everything was handled by myself and Brandon Lester. We used Cinema4D and Octane for the 3d work and comped it in After Effects.
I helped create this Show Open for the Starz TV show Black Sails while working with Imaginary Forces. I created all of the camera work as well as a lot of the lighting and rendering. I used Maya and VRay.
We were nominated for an Emmy for this project. We were also featured on the website Art of the Title.
AT&T asked me to develop the look for a slightly game used football to be used in their NFL 4K promo packages. I used Cinema 4D, Octane, and Photoshop to achieve the look.
Boards and Concepts that AT&T tasked me with designing over the course of 2017. All work completed using C4D, Maya, Octane, Photoshop, and my little noggin'
I worked on this spot with the talented folks at Gentleman Scholar. One of the rare projects that I was fortunate enough to work on with my wife. Project was completed with Maya and VRay.
Auto racing is something that I've been passionate about since before I could even walk. I grew up in the late 80's in the pits at Indy car races throughout the Northeast United States and it had a profound effect on me. Most of my weekends these days, you can find me at various race tracks throughout Southern California, racing Sprint Karts.. overbuilt gokarts with two-stroke aircooled engines reaching top speeds of 80 mph mere inches from the ground, using only your ribs for suspension. Its the greatest thing in the world. Here is my branding effort for my humble race team.
For the 2016 Super Bowl, we created this ad for Hyundai. I brought the bears to life with facial animation using Maya.
I worked on this project in the summer of 2015 with Blind Studios. Scott Rothstein practically begged me to work on this job and it paid off because look how great it turned out.
Fusce erat est, consequat et sem et, posuere commodo tellus. Fusce ut sem vel ex feugiat vehicula. Fusce accumsan nisi eu velit euismod tincidunt. Mauris posuere risus et elementum laoreet. Sed erat velit, aliquam eget rhoncus eget, tincidunt ut nisi.
Imaginary Forces tasked me with creating two shots for the show open for Last Ship. From concept to look dev to compositing, the bullets shot and the blue bottle shot were done completely by me.
This is one of the weirder commercials I've ever worked on. Had a great crew and really enjoyed working with Jonah Hall on this one to bring the engine face to life. I created all the facial animation for the engines on this spot.
Katy Perry is one of the raddest pop stars in the industry and it was an honor to work on one of her music videos. I modeled and textured the candy cane snakes that chase her.
Established in 2012, Mooks & Wilson started as a branding exercise quickly turned into a full on leather goods company. Every piece was concepted and hand crafted by myself.
I created all the CG for this fun little Microsoft spot, back in 2013 while working with Logan Studios.
